Setting Up Automated Workflows

Workflow Automation

Reachware's workflow automation engine lets you create rules that automatically trigger actions based on events in your integrations. Reduce manual work and ensure data consistency across all your connected systems.

Creating Your First Workflow

Navigate to Automation > Create Workflow. Give your workflow a descriptive name and choose a trigger event (e.g., "New order in Foodics", "Invoice paid in Xero"). Then define the actions to take when the trigger fires.

Common Workflow Examples

  • Auto-sync new orders from POS to accounting software

  • Send notifications when inventory drops below threshold

  • Create invoices automatically when a project milestone is completed

  • Update CRM contact when customer details change in ERP

Testing Workflows

Before activating a workflow, use the Test button to simulate the trigger and verify the actions work as expected. Review the test results in the workflow log to catch any issues before going live.
